The primary functions of the Registrar's Office are :
- Creation and maintainenance of all academic records
- Issue all official academic and transfer records for current students and alumni
- Course offerings and academic classroom scheduling
- Grade recording and reporting
- Degree certifications
- Enrollment verifications
- Graduation application verifications
- Determination of academic honors
- Certification of VA educational benefits
- NCAA Division III student athletic eligibility
- Updating transfer credits from previous institutions
- Academic advising resource serving the Mount's faculty advisors
- Academic advising for non-traditional undeclared students
The Registrar's Office also assists the College faculty and administrators by providing student and course data, analysis and recommendations required for policy formation, curriculum planning, program development and advising.
